What happens, step by step
- X-ray to assess the extent and the adult tooth below
- Local anaesthetic with a topical gel first
- Removal of infected pulp tissue
- Resorbable filling material placed
- Stainless steel crown fitted to protect the tooth
How we quote pulpectomy & pulpotomy
We do not publish a figure for this treatment, because the honest answer is that it depends on what we find. Two patients needing pulpectomy & pulpotomy can need very different work. You get your cost in writing after the examination and X-ray — before anything begins.
